Announcement<\/b> – response to PASOK <\/b>released by the government on the development of the eGreek economy<\/b>. <\/p>\n
According to the statement, released<\/b> by the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, PASOK<\/b> “accuses” the government because the Greek economy, in conditions of war,<\/b> continues to grow at twice the rate of the Eurozone<\/b>. <\/p>\n
Even in the Commission’s<\/b> pessimistic scenario, Greece is projected in 2026 to have growth of 1.8%<\/b>, when the eurozone average will move to just 0.9%!<\/p>\n
By the same logic, it adds, Harilaou Trikoupis will<\/b> soon be asking for explanations because investment has risen<\/b> from 11% to 17% of GDP, because unemployment has fallen to 8% from 17% (and from 27% at the heart of the crisis) and because Greece is recording the fastest debt reduction in the world. Every positive indicator<\/b> for the country “crumbs<\/b>” the narrative of PASOK’s catastrophism.<\/b><\/p>\n
The government is the first to recognise the difficulties<\/b> and the pressure that households<\/b> continue to face. That is why, the statement said, we have moved forward with new, extraordinary but permanent support measures of \u20ac800 million<\/b> to strengthen society and reduce the impact of the international crisis.<\/p>\n
