The Greek citizens<\/b> have returned to Athens via Istanbul<\/b>, after the adventure of their arrest <\/b>and detention by Israeli <\/b>forces.<\/p>\n

The repatriation operation<\/a> of the 19 Greek activists<\/b> who participated in the international humanitarian “Global Sumud Flotilla”<\/b> bound for Gaza<\/b> has been successfully completed. <\/p>\n

The Greek citizens landed at the airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”<\/b> of Athens at 9:00 p.m. on a commercial flight, with the continued assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Immediately after their arrival in Athens, the health authorities were mobilized and those repatriates deemed to be in need were taken to a hospital<\/b> for first aid and medical examinations. <\/p>\n
