With the start of the Panelladic Examinations approaching, candidates are now at the most demanding stage of their preparation. <\/p>\n

students of the GEL<\/strong> will be tested on Friday, May 29 in New Greek Language and Literature<\/strong>, while students of the EPAL will give a lesson in New Greek<\/strong> on Saturday 30 May. <\/p>\n

For the new academic year, candidates are vying for one of the 68,788 available places<\/strong> in higher education. <\/p>\n

The basic advice for candidates<\/strong> <\/h2>\n<\/h2>\n

The president of the Federation of Educational Caregivers of Greece, Yiannis Vafiadakis, speaking to APE-MPA, stressed the importance of proper management of the days before each examination. <\/p>\n

As he explained, proper preparation is based on systematic repetitions<\/strong> and studying different lessons within the same day. <\/p>\n

In addition, he recommended that students: <\/p>\n

    \n
  • Don’t get “stuck” on difficult topics<\/li>\n
  • \n
  • Avoid discussions that increase anxiety just before the exam.<\/li>\n
  • Read the lectures very carefully.<\/li>\n
  • \n
  • Start from the easiest topics for better time management.<\/li>\n
  • To pay attention to the image and clarity of their writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    “The most important thing is for them to believe in their abilities, to enter the hall with composure and confidence and to remember that the Panhellenic exams are a transitional stage and not the final criterion for the quality and value of their character,” Mr. Vafiadakis said. <\/p>\n

    He also referred to parents, noting that they need to maintain a calm atmosphere at home and not to transfer the pressure to their children. <\/p>\n

    What students should carry with them<\/strong> <\/h2>\n<\/h2>\n

    The start time of the exams has been set at 08:30<\/strong>, however candidates must be in the halls by 08:00<\/strong> at the latest. <\/p>\n

    The duration of the examination is three hours<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

    Students should bring with them: <\/p>\n

      \n
    • Identity card or passport<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Passport of the examinee<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Black or blue pen<\/li>\n
    • Gum and sharpener where permitted<\/li>\n
    • Geometric instruments for relevant subjects<\/li>\n
    • A bottle of water or juice<\/li>\n
    • A simple wristwatch, but no smartwatch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Prohibited: <\/p>\n

        \n
      • Books and notes<\/li>\n
      • Corrective fluid or tape<\/li>\n
      • Mobile phones<\/li>\n
      • Computers and communication devices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The curriculum for GEL and EPAL<\/strong> <\/h2>\n<\/h2>\n

        For candidates of GEL<\/strong>, the exams are still open: <\/p>\n

          \n
        • On Wednesday, June 3, with Ancient Greek<\/strong>, Mathematics<\/strong> and Biology<\/strong><\/li>\n
        • On Friday 5 June with Latin<\/strong>, Chemistry<\/strong> and Civil Engineering<\/strong><\/li>\n
        • On Monday 8 June with History<\/strong>, Physics<\/strong> and Economics<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          For students of EPAL<\/strong>, after Modern Greek, the following will follow: <\/p>\n

          • On June 2, Mathematics (Algebra)<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • From June 4 to June 15, the specialty courses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            The specialty course exams will be conducted from June 16 to June 25, 2026<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

            Meanwhile, the Health Examination<\/strong> and practical tests for the TEFA<\/strong> will be held from June 15 to 26<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

            When do high school and middle school exams end<\/strong> <\/h2>\n

            The third grade high school graduation exams will conclude on Monday May 25, 2026<\/strong>, while the results will be issued by Wednesday May 27<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

            For the first and second grade, the promotional exams will be completed by June 12<\/strong>, with results to be released by June 19<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

            In high schools<\/strong>, the final bell will ring on May 27, 2026<\/strong>, with exams being administered from June 2 to 15<\/strong>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
