The “1st Panhellenic School Secondary Recycling Secondary Education<\/strong> Championship<\/a><\/strong>” was completed with great success. The participation of students & schools all over Greece was impressive!<\/p>\n

The Championship in numbers<\/strong><\/h3>\n

– 8.000+ <\/strong>students actively participated
– from 528 school sections<\/strong> of high schools & grammar schools
– in 95 municipalities <\/strong>across the country
– 87,427,216<\/strong> pieces of materials were returned to TECHAN’s
Recycling Centers<\/strong>
– 2,622.816,48 \u20ac <\/strong>were given as a compensation to the participants<\/p>\n

The “1st Panhellenic School Recycling Championship<\/strong>” was held in the framework of the proclamation Yannis Antetokounmpo<\/strong> as MVP (Most Valuable Protector) of Recycling in Greece<\/strong> and is part of the TEHAN<\/strong> “Corporate Social Responsibility” Programs, with the aim of:<\/p>\n

the awareness of the New Generation
the active participation of high school students
the cultivation of environmental awareness
the promotion of the circular economy & recycling<\/p>\n

The action was under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports & the Ministry of Environment and Energy.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

The MVP’s of the Championship<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 6 first-place “MVP school recycling departments”<\/strong>, per grade of high school & middle school, win: <\/p>\n

Large Prizes<\/h4>\n

Six (6) five (5) day trips to the United States<\/strong> for all students in the leading school divisions per Secondary School grade to watch Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/strong> in person at an NBA game!<\/p>\n
