According to international reports, <b>Tel Aviv is seeking the formation of an extended zone of control<\/b> in <b>South Lebanon<\/b>, accompanied by <b>rules of engagement that allow for continuous targeted strikes against Hezbollah positions<\/b> even <b>in the context of a possible ceasefire<\/b>. These moves <b>are part of a broader strategy of rebalancing<\/b> along the border, <b>where security, deterrence and regional influence coexist<\/b> with an ongoing <b>low-intensity conflict<\/b> that <b>remains fluid and unpredictable<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The <b>Israeli military is seeking to maintain control of a security zone<\/b> deep <b>inside southern Lebanon<\/b> in the event of a <b>a ceasefire<\/b> with Hezbollah<\/b>, as well as the <b>freedom to strike military activities<\/b> of the pro-Iranian group, <b>according to the Wall Street Journal<\/b>. <\/p>\n<figure>\n<div class=\"embed-responsive\"><script type=\"module\" src=\"https:\/\/player.glomex.com\/integration\/1\/integration.js\"><\/script> <link rel=\"stylesheet\" href=\"https:\/\/player.glomex.com\/variant\/40599z1imnh94wfz\/variant.css\"> <glomex-integration integration-id=\"40599z1imnh94wfz\" playlist-id=\"v-dhujcp5ehckh\"> <\/glomex-integration><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h3>Order to expand the security zone<\/h3>\n<p>These terms refer to the November 2024 ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, following the two-month Israeli military operation.
