Sofia Voultepsi<\/b> has warned of Alexis Tsipras’s political plans<\/b> against the backdrop of the next elections<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The New Democracy MP Sofia Voultepsi<\/b> referred to the roots of Greek-Turkish relations and the scenarios of the next election, criticising harshly both the historical path of PASOK<\/b> and Alexis Tsipras<\/b>. <\/p>\n

The Voultepsi<\/b> stressed that the country’s foreign policy<\/b> is still influenced by past bilateral and European decisions, which Angara uses as diplomatic stepping stones<\/b>. “What is happening on national issues is the result of the Madrid and Helsinki agreements<\/b> – under Simitis, Papandreou<\/b> – which the Turks invoke to this day. They say ‘excuse me, we agreed these things in 1997 and 1999’,” she noted.<\/p>\n

Turning to the domestic political field and the importance of government stability, the MP expressed strong concern about the attitude of the opposition parties<\/b>, highlighting the different priorities set by the New Democracy<\/b> compared to its opponents. As she noted, “I am interested in having a government the day after the elections. What is going on with what PASOK has done?<\/b>“.<\/p>\n

Closing her statement, Sofia Voultepsi turned her arrows to Alexis Tsipras<\/b>, who, after recent polls that put him in second place, seems to be investing in lacking self-reliance<\/b> in order to claim a role as a regulator. “Tsipras has come in second, who is interested in the exact opposite.
