Minister of National Economy and Finance and chairman of the Eurogroup, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, speaking on ANT1’s “Kalimera Ellada” programme, said that investments implemented from 2022 onwards have significantly enhanced energy security<\/strong> and the country’s resilience to international turbulence. <\/p>\n As he said, the recent crisis in the Middle East<\/strong> affected Greece by 12% less<\/strong>, which he attributed to the investments made in recent years. “The more you invest in energy security<\/strong>, the less you experience the effects of such a crisis,” he noted. <\/p>\n At the same time, he stressed that investment<\/strong> boosts growth, help improve wages and lead to a reduction in unemployment<\/strong>. According to him, more than 600,000 people<\/strong> have found work since 2019 to date, while unemployment<\/strong> is near a new historic low<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Pierrakakis noted that the Greek economy has now gained greater resilience<\/strong> and resilience<\/strong>, describing them as the key “key words” of the current period.
