On the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of the Distomo massacre<\/strong> on 10 June 1944<\/strong>, the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias<\/strong>, paid tribute to the victims of one of the most heinous crimes committed by Nazi troops<\/strong> during World War II<\/strong>. <\/p>\n In a post on the social network X<\/strong>, Mr. Dendias stressed that the preservation of historical memory<\/strong> and historical truth<\/strong> is a minimum debt to future generations.
