Nikos Papandreou<\/strong> has sent a message of a change of direction to PASOK<\/strong>, telling ACTION 24<\/strong> that the findings of polls <\/b>show the need for a new course. <\/p>\n

The party’s electoral candidate argued that the picture recorded has not changed substantially<\/strong> and that the party should move<\/b> autonomously in the elections<\/b>, leaving open decisions on the way forward after the first Sunday. <\/p>\n

Talking about the political scene, Nikos Papandreou said citizens are looking for a solution<\/b> that he said they can’t find in any party<\/b>. In the same context, he noted, “The bullet<\/b> has not left where it was<\/b>.” <\/p>\n

The message for PASOK<\/h3>\n

Referring to the stance that, in his view, PASOK<\/b> should take, he said that the party should run autonomously. But he stressed that after the first Sunday<\/b> everything will be decided anew, leaving open the possibility of new political facts. <\/p>\n

The MEP pointed out that “After 12 polls, something must be said<\/b>” and stressed that these results should be taken seriously by the party leadership. Elsewhere in the interview he also said, “The first Sunday<\/b> will show us the next Sunday<\/b>“. <\/p>\n

The reference to the next day<\/h3>\n

Nikos Papandreou<\/b> noted that the crucial point will be the first Sunday of the elections<\/b>, as from there the discussion about the next moves of PASOK<\/b> can be opened. As he said, between the first and second Sunday<\/b> something spectacular may emerge in Greece and “They can be torn down and we can see new things. After the first Sunday<\/b>, it will be open to PASOK<\/b> to decide democratically<\/b> before the elections<\/b>.
