The Budget (at the central government level) showed a budget surplus of 920 million in the January-March quarter compared to a surplus of 1.45 billion euros in the same period last year.
The primary surplus of the State Budget, which stood at 3.5 billion, was higher, however, according to data from the Bank of Greece. euros against €3.3 billion last year.
The revenue of the regular budget was €16.9 billion, up from €16.85 billion last year.
As for expenditure of the regular budget, it stood at €15.8 billion, down from €15.4 billion in January-March 2025.
