Telephone call about planting a bomb in the political office of Fotini Arabatzi has put police authorities on alert in Serres on Monday morning.
According to reports, the phone call was made at about 9:15 a.m. by an unknown person who used a hidden number. The call was answered by an associate of the MP, who heard the caller warn of the existence of an explosive device in the office.
The incident immediately mobilized police authorities, who decided to evacuate the premises.
The case is being investigated by the competent authorities.
Recall that Fotini Arabatzi’s name is included in a case file of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office on the OPEKEPE case.
