This year’s National Exams are entering the next phase, as starting next week the exams for Specialized Subjects will begin, as well as the Practical Exams for candidates applying for a spot in TEFAA.

At the same time, students at EPAL will complete their their exams in specialized subjects, while the school year is coming to an end for elementary schools, kindergartens and middle schools.

Special Subject Exams Begin

The exams for Special Subjects will take place from June 16 to 25, 2026 and concern candidates who have registered for courses required for admission to specific schools and departments.

The first exam will take place on Tuesday, June 16 with English.

The following exams will follow:

  • Freehand Drawing – Wednesday, June 17
  • Linear Drawing – Thursday, June 18
  • German – Friday, June 19
  • Music Perception, Theory, and Harmony – Saturday, June 20
  • Music Performance and Interpretation – Monday, June 22
  • French – Tuesday, June 23
  • Italian – Wednesday, June 24
  • Spanish – Thursday, June 25

Prospective students must be in the classrooms by 8:00 a.m. for classes starting at 08:30. For English and the Aural Training, Theory and Harmony, which begin at 10:00, students must be present by 09:30.

How long do the exams last?

The exam duration varies by subject.

Specifically, exams in foreign languages last three hours, while Freehand Drawing and Linear Drawing last six hours.

For the subject Musical Performance and Interpretation, each candidate’s exam lasts from four to six minutes.

Finally, the course Musical Perception, Theory, and Harmony has a total duration of three hours and thirty minutes.

Practical Exams for TEFAA

From June 15 through June 26, 2026, the Medical Examinations and the Practical Exams for GEL and EPAL candidates who wish to enroll in the Departments of Physical Education and Sports Science.

EPAL students are finishing up

EPAL students will finish their specialty course exams tomorrow.

Specifically, they will be tested on:

  • Refrigeration Systems-Air Conditioning
  • Aircraft Engines
  • Central Heating Design

Meanwhile, tomorrow marks the conclusion of the promotion and graduation exams in middle schools.

The same day will also be the last day of this school year in elementary schools and kindergartens.

When are the grades expected?

Grades for General Education and Orientation courses are expected to be announced around late June.

Along with the scores, it is estimated that the official statistics</, which will provide a clearer picture of the trend in admission cutoffs.

Immediately afterward, the platform will open for filling out the Computerized Form.

The process is expected to begin within the first half of July, so that the admission thresholds can be announced by the end of the month.
