According to Israeli media, Iran’s negotiating team is reportedly stating that “no peace agreement with the U.S. will be signed today.” According to reports, “Tehran is preparing to convey its final terms to Washington via mediators from Qatar.” Sources close to the negotiations report that “the recent attacks in Beirut have complicated the negotiations.”
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that “Iran rejects U.S. incentives to refrain from attacking Israel and will respond soon to the attacks in Beirut. Another report states: “Iran is considering the U.S. proposal while the threat of a missile attack looms.” According to reports, Iran continues to examine the incentives offered by the U.S. to avoid an attack on Israel following the bombing in Beirut.
The latest reports state that “intensive talks are underway between the US and Iran aimed at preventing a missile response, despite earlier reports that Tehran had rejected Washington’s proposal.”
