Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons “neither today nor tomorrow,” stated the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Mr. Netanyahu made it clear that Israeli forces will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon for as long as deemed necessary.
During a press conference he held following the announcement of the agreement between the United States and Iran, Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Israel has dealt decisive blows to the Iranian leadership and the networks it supports in the region.
“Iran will never acquire nuclear weapons, neither today nor tomorrow,” he stated emphatically.
The Israeli prime minister also noted that Israel “decapitated the leadership of the terrorist regime” and “destroyed the terror factories,” arguing that Israeli citizens were facing grave danger.
“You were all in grave danger of death”, he said, addressing the citizens.
Also, Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that the damage inflicted on Iran by the conflict of recent months “are estimated by some to be approaching $1 trillion”.
The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, stated that Israel intends to build new strategic partnerships in the wider region and beyond, while ensuring its ability to produce and procure weapons systems without relying on third parties.
“We will forge new partnerships throughout the region and beyond, while at the same time ensuring Israel’s ability to produce and acquire its own weapons independently,” he noted.
When asked if he could say “no” to the president of the United States, Donald Trump, the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasized that his priority remains the security of Israel.
“He is the President of the United States; I am the Prime Minister of Israel. I am responsible for the security of our country,” he stated emphatically, adding that “there are instances in which Trump and I do not see things the same way.”
Referring to the Lebanese front, Netanyahu made it clear that Israeli forces will not be withdrawing immediately from the security zone established in southern Lebanon.
“We will remain in the security zone in Lebanon for as long as necessary,” he emphasized.
