A very interesting event is taking place today at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Athens.

The Ioannis Kapodistrias Society for the Study of Modern and Contemporary History (E.M.E.N.S.I.) invites anyone interested to attend today, Wednesday, June 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Athens — “Antonis Tritsis” Amphitheater (50 Akademias Street, Panepistimio Metro Station) for a workshop on the topic: “The Course of Greek-Turkish relations through history,” held as part of the ongoing study of Modern and Contemporary History.

Speakers at the event include Andreas Koukos, professor of Modern History who teaches at Greek and foreign universities, a lawyer, chairman of the board of E.M.E.N.S.I., and Dr. Kyriakos A. Kenevezos, former ambassador and former Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus.

The workshop is coordinated by the director of E.M.E.N.S.I., Penelope Nicole.

The event is being held with the support of the Organization for Culture, Sports, and Youth of the Municipality of Athens.
