In a post on X, amid turmoil over the upcoming midterm Iran-U.S. agreement to end the war, Mike Hakabi notes: “Iran is demanding that Israel stop defending its borders against Hezbollah. The peace plan for Gaza depends on the disarmament of Hamas. Idea: Every member of Hezbollah and Hamas should be deported to a “mothership” in Iran. Result? Lebanon and Israel are free from Iran’s terrorist proxies. “Give peace a chance.”
In Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the army will remain in Lebanon, Syria, and the Gaza Strip “for as long as necessary.”
Yesterday, the Israeli military carried out retaliatory strikes in southern Lebanon in response to rocket fire by Hezbollah.
