A heated debate took place on the show “Good Morning Greece” on ANT1, sparked by the proposals of PASOK regarding support for students and affordable housing.
Journalist Panagiotis Stathis commented on the cost of the measures: “When someone tells you 35 million for students, why is it free?”
The New Democracy MP for Achaea, Christina Alexopoulou, responded that this is a “flash in the pan,” arguing that there is no comprehensive, costed proposal.
For her part, Vasia Anastasiou, a member of PASOK, argued that the plan is not limited to students alone, pointing out that it also includes public housing.
Continuing her criticism, Christina Alexopoulou stated that PASOK’s “master plan” occasionally presents “idealistic proposals,” adding that such proposals should not be presented in isolation but should be examined as a whole, with a complete breakdown of their planning and costs.
