“The new agreement provides for wage increases, a child allowance for each child until they reach adulthood, and an allowance for department heads,” she added, emphasizing that it affects more than 2,500 employees.
More specifically, in a post, the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Niki Kerameos, emphasized that, following the catering and tourism sectors, as well as the confectionery and bakery sectors, a new collective bargaining agreement was signed for food technologists and scientists as well.
“The new collective bargaining agreement provides for pay raises, a child allowance for each child until they reach adulthood, and a bonus for department heads. Why do we support collective bargaining agreements? Because they contribute significantly to improving wages, boosting employment, and creating a more stable and modern work environment. “Stronger collective bargaining agreements mean better conditions for both employees and businesses,” stated Ms. Kerameos.
