Adonis Georgiadis claimed that Anna Diamantopoulou did not respond in a timely manner to PASOK’s stance against cooperation with Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Adonis Georgiadis on PASOK: Doukas’s line prevailed
The Minister of Health and Vice President of New Democracy, Adonis Georgiadis, appeared on the “Proini Zoni” show on Action24 and criticized the recent statements by Anna Diamantopoulou, while also commenting on the decisions made at the most recent conference of PASOK.
As she noted, Diamantopoulou “she got the short end of the stick,” as the line of Haris Doukas prevailed within her party, which, according to him, rules out any possibility of cooperation with Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Adonis Georgiadis also noted that it is “too late for tears,” arguing that Anna Diamantopoulou can no longer distance herself from a decision that has already been approved by the conference of PASOK.
At the same time, she emphasized that her opposition to this specific decision should have been expressed before the convention, and not after the decision was ratified that PASOK “does not cooperate with Mitsotakis in any way.”
