A series of meetings took place today (June 18) in Brussels, the Minister of National DefenseNikos Dendias, on the sidelines of the NATO Defense Ministers’ Meeting.

Specifically, Mr. Dendias stated in a post on social media platform X that he met “one-on-one” with his counterparts from Italy Guido Crosetto, Germany Boris Pistorius, Norway Tore O. Sandvik, Sweden’s Pål Jonson, and North Macedonia’s Vlado Misajlovski.

“We discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral defense cooperation within the framework of NATO,” emphasized Mr. Dendias.

“Also, together with the defense ministers of Germany, Sweden, Norway , and Italy we discussed the prospects for our cooperation in the development of the European defense industry, with an emphasis on innovation,” said the Minister of National Defense.
