Health Minister, Adonis Georgiadis, to the possibility of meeting with Stefanos Kasselakis, and his husband, Tyler Macbeth, following related reports made during an online broadcast.
In a social media post, the Minister of Health thanked Stefanos Kasselakis and Tyler Macbeth for their positive comments and stated that he is open to dialogue on issues concerning the National Health System.
“I would like to warmly thank Mr. Tyler McBeth and Stefanos Kasselakis for their kind words, and of course I am at the President’s disposal for briefings and an exchange of views on the National Health System,” Adonis Georgiadis noted.
The proposal for a meeting was made by Tyler Macbeth during an LGBT Center Greece vidcast on YouTube. Speaking with actress and activist Jeff Montana, Macbeth, who has previously worked in healthcare facilities in the United States, expressed his desire to meet with the Minister of Health to discuss issues related to the healthcare sector.
“I haven’t met him personally. I would very much like Adonis, if he’s listening to this, to sit down and discuss all the possibilities,” he said.
For his part, Stefanos Kasselakis seemed confident that the minister would accept the proposal, with Tyler Macbeth replying: “Great, let’s set up the meeting.”
During the discussion, the president of the “Democrats – Progressive Center” acknowledged that, despite his political disagreements with Adonis Georgiadis, he appreciates Georgiadis’s willingness to participate in public dialogues and meetings outside the usual political frameworks.
