Nikos Nifoudis stated emphatically: “We do not want members of Parliament, because we do not want the Greek Left Coalition to have a voice in this Parliament, especially when our president, Alexis Tsipras, has relinquished his seat.”
Responding to a question about the possible recruitment of officials from SYRIZA or other political groups, he emphasized that no exceptions are planned. “There is no different rule for members of parliament, party leaders, or ordinary citizens,” he noted.
What he said about Famellos and Achtsioglou
The deputy spokesperson for the Hellenic Police explained that the integration process is the same for everyone, while making a special reference to the president of SYRIZA.

Referring to Efi Achtsioglou, he stated: “Ms. Achtsioglou, since she has resigned and relinquished her seat, can visit myelas.gr and participate as a volunteer.”
At the same time, he stated that anyone wishing to seek a political role through ELAS will undergo an evaluation process.
“Anyone who wishes to do so can visit myelas.gr—we’ve surpassed 50,000 registrations— submit their resume and their candidacy, and the nomination committees will decide whether they will be candidates or not,” he emphasized.
