Lidl Hellas successfully completed its Passover action in cooperation with Make-A-Wish Greece, demonstrating for the 3rd consecutive year its commitment to provide strength to children suffering from serious illnesses.
From Thursday 26 March to M. Saturday 11 April 2026, Lidl Plus app users became part of a great chain of love. With every scan of their digital card, the company donated €0.05 to the charity. During this period, a total of 2,201,753 scans were recorded, raising an impressive €110,088. However, recognizing the importance of the Make-A-Wish (Make-A-Wish Greece) project, the company proceeded to offer a total amount of 120,000 euros.
This year’s campaign, starring paralympian and Lidl Hellas ambassador, Antonis Tsapatakis, showed the power of giving through a simple “5-minute” gesture. Thanks to the enthusiastic response of consumers, this amount will be used to fulfill children’s wishes which add to the 26 wishes that have already been fulfilled since the start of the partnership in 2024.
This action takes on special significance this year, as Make-A-Wish Greece completes 30 years of action in Greece. At a time when more than 272 children are waiting for their wish to be granted , Lidl Hellas continues to actively support the work of the organisation, turning the daily shopping experience into a meaningful social contribution.
With a deep sense of social responsibility, Lidl Hellas remains true to its vision for a better tomorrow, focusing on the children who need it most.
