Aris Portosalte launched a fierce attack against Alexis Tsipras on SKAI, referring to “nonsense,” “nonsense,” and empty promises.

“On the ‘Tsipro-tree,’ you can hand out money”

Aris Portosalte, speaking on the “Today” on SKAI, sharply criticized Alexis Tsipras and those who, as he noted, have taken it upon themselves to publicly support his positions.

As he said, associates of the former prime minister have come forward, including a professor, two women and a businessman, whom he commented on in particular. According to the journalist, this is a man who, in his own professional life, operates within a specific budget, but when it comes to the management of the state, he appears to support policies without fiscal limits.

He characteristically argued that “on the Tsiprodentro you can hand out money,” implying that the relevant proposals are based on a logic of uncontrolled spending.

Continuing his criticism, Portosalte argued that the arguments put forward in favor of these specific positions go beyond the bounds of serious political debate. As he noted, “nonsense” or “nonsense” are not enough, in his view, to describe what is being said, while he accused the supporters of these views of displaying a persistent obsession with this kind of reasoning.

In closing, he noted that Alexis Tsipras remains “the same as ever,” noting that his political views and the arguments surrounding him have not changed substantially.
