The deportation of a foreign national, with a legal distribution license, was announced by Thanos Plevris announced, as he calls on immigrants to enter Nafplio illegally “because no one is checking them.”

“A foreign national, holding a legal residence permit, is using a social media post to call on migrants to enter Nafplio illegally because no one is checking them. These specific videos spread fake news and are used by human-trafficking rings to convince illegal immigrants to come to the EU. This particular foreign national was identified by the police,
a case file was opened against him, and I have ordered the authorities to revoke his residence permit and initiate the process of his deportation in accordance with the new provisions of the Immigration Code.”.
