A telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelati, as part of the ongoing contacts between the two foreign ministers in recent weeks.
During their conversation, the two ministers reaffirmed the progress of the Greek-Egyptian Strategic Partnership and exchanged views on important regional issues.
The discussion covered issues related to Libya, the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as recent developments surrounding the U.S.-Iran negotiations.
