New Democracy is the country’s major center-right party, which guarantees stability, security, and a vision for the future. It is the force that keeps the country standing in difficult circumstances and provides real solutions with a clear plan and tangible results. We remain steadfastly committed to our work, with the goal of a Greece that moves forward, with growth and trust in its citizens.”

Mr. Katsafados also met with Peloponnese Regional Governor Dimitris Ptochos, with whom he exchanged views on issues of Civil Protection, the need to restore critical infrastructure, and addressing the consequences of severe weather events.

Concluding his visit , Mr. Katsafados stated: “Today’s visit and the meetings we are holding are neither a formal institutional procedure nor a fleeting presence in the region. They are part of a consistent policy choice based on ongoing contact with local communities, identifying their real needs, and seeking substantive solutions to the problems they face. These regions, like many others across the country, have been confronted with recurring and severe weather events. Our approach is clear: we listen to the voice of local communities, identify their real needs, and respond with concrete actions. This is the essence of our presence: constant engagement with the community, consistency in fulfilling our commitments, and the political will to translate citizens’ experiences into concrete actions and projects.”
