The Minister of Defense of Israel, Israel Katz, threatened today (June 26) Iran, claiming that, if Tehran attacks Israel, it would be its “biggest mistake”.

“Neither the Strait of Hormuz nor attacks on the civilian population will help it here. Nothing will stop us. Our forces are ready to complete the mission,” Katz wrote in a post on Platform X, responding to recent threats by the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force, Esmail Qaani.

The Israeli defense minister also argued that Qaani “is better suited to the image of a partner than this ridiculous barrage of threats.”
