In a social media post, Adonis Georgiadis presented details regarding the large-scale recruitment announcement for permanent in the National Health System, noting that the vast majority of available positions have already been filled.
As he noted, of the 1,171 positions that were announced, 962 have already been filled, while the remaining procedures are underway.

The Minister of Health wrote: “The largest recruitment drive for doctors ever conducted in the history of the National Health System has been successfully completed. Of the 1,171 positions we announced, 962 have already been filled. We are continuing our efforts to further strengthen the public health system and our hospitals.”
Support for public hospitals continues
Adonis Georgiadis stated that staffing public hospitals is a key priority for the ministry, noting that the recruitment process is ongoing, with the aim of meeting as many of the needs of the National Health System as possible.
According to the data he presented, the announcement concerns permanent physician positions in hospitals across the country and constitutes, as he claims, the largest such process ever carried out to date in the public health system.
