The announcement of Comrade Tzakri’s departure from the party of Stefanos—with his tight-fitting clothes—after years (approximately 30 years) of efforts to subdue her have proved fruitless.

The uncompromising anti-establishment politician served as deputy minister under PASOK and voted for two memoranda; she later served as deputy minister under SYRIZA and voted for yet another one, and everything indicates that none of this has in the slightest diminished her desire to resist.

If we’re lucky, we’ll see her resisting the system again in a PASOK jersey—a party that, in its desperation, might take her back.
