As it turns out, the alleged nurse’s claim that 19-year-old Myrto died because doctors at the Kefalonia hospital were not in place has no basis, a fact highlighted from the very first moment by Adonis Georgiades.

According to the evidence so far, the above fake news comes from a female doctor who took the opportunity to get back at another colleague at the hospital over a personal issue. All this while the drama of a family who lost a child is ongoing.

Adonis Georgiades said he will sue for libel over the fake news. At the same time, he stressed that if the information is confirmed that the lies were started by a hospital doctor for reasons of retaliation, then she has no place in the EESY and disciplinary proceedings will be initiated.

The complaint was initiated by Peter Kusoulou‘s show while the complainant appeared as a nurse. However, both the health minister immediately denied it and the hospital staff co-ordinatedly stated that the allegations were not true while they quickly understood who the complainant was and why she started the slander.

In fact, all the nurses at the hospital signed that none of them were behind the anonymous complaint and Adonis Georgiades ordered an NDE while clarifying that Myrto received immediate and appropriate medical attention from the hospital.

Of course the false allegation started a new fake news dance by various trolls and social media users about the ESY supposedly falling apart. And once again it proves how easily public opinion can be swayed by false information.

After the news broke, Petros Kousoulos confirmed that the woman who made the complaint is not a nurse but a doctor and asked to appear on his show. All this at the same time that society is shocked by a wild crime against a young girl.
