Russian drones attacked infrastructure in the Ukrainian port of Odessa on the Black Sea overnight, Deputy Prime Minister Olexi Kuleba said today.

The attack caused damage to berths, warehouses, railway infrastructure and facilities of the port’s management body, according to a Telegram post by Kuleba.

According to initial reports, there were no injuries from the attack and the port is still operating, according to the Ukrainian Ports Authority.

Kuleba also said that a Russian drone attack on railway infrastructure in the southern region of Zaporizhzhya claimed the life of an assistant engineer, while the engineer himself was taken to hospital.

The Ukrainian Air Force said Russia launched 215 drones against the country as of 6 p.m. (local and Greek time) yesterday and 189 were shot down or neutralized.
