Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he is in “excellent physical condition” after the publication of his annual medical report, which revealed he underwent removal of a malignant tumour.
Netanyahu’s message
In a post on X on Friday, Netanyahu said that during his regular medical follow-up after a successful surgical procedure for prostate hypertrophy, doctors identified a malignant tumor (cancer) at an early stage.
The treatment “eliminated the problem and left no trace,” he added. Netanyahu said he had requested that the publication of his medical file be postponed so that it would not be made public amid the height of the US-Israel war with Iran, in order to prevent Tehran from spreading “even more false propaganda against Israel”.
