With the ceasefire torpedoed, Netanyahu earlier today ordered the Israeli army to strike Lebanon with what he called “force” against Hezbollah.

Hit Hezbollah targets in Lebanon with force,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, addressing the army.

The announcement from the prime minister’s office of Israel comes after Hezbollah fired rockets and used drones against northern Israel and Israeli troops stationed in southern Lebanon today.

As reported by the Times of Israel website, Hezbollah is carrying out multiple attacks daily against Israeli forces stationed in south Lebanon amid the ceasefire and claims that its actions are due to alleged ceasefire violations by Israel.

Earlier today, Lebanon’s health ministry said four people had been killed in Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon.

Two Israeli enemy strikes, against a truck and a motorbike, in the community of Yamor al-Sakif, in the province of Nabatiya, caused the death of four people,” the Lebanese Health Ministry statement specifically said.

Note that six people were killed in Lebanon yesterday in the deadliest day of the ceasefire.
