The five wounded by fire from the 89-year-old’s remains at the Red Cross, with their health being treated with conservative medication.

The five people who were shot with a rifle during the violent incidents remain under the hospital care of doctors from the “Red Cross”.

The victims of the assault of the 89-year-old, which unfolded at the offices of the EFKA in Kerameikos and in the premises of the Athens Pretrial Court, are undergoing all the necessary tests to monitor their progress.

The hospital administration issued a medical bulletin, clarifying how their injuries will be managed.

The medical communiqué reads as follows:

“Today 28/04/2026, a male patient, an employee of the National Health Insurance Fund, was transported by ambulance to the Emergency Department (ED) of the General Hospital “KORGIALENEIO-BENAKEIO ESS” after a reported shot with a shotgun.

The patient arrived haemodynamically stable. He sustained an injury to the posterior surface of the right foot, at the level of the heel. A full clinical and laboratory examination and CT angiography was performed. It did not show anything major.

Subsequently, four other women, employees of the Athens Court of First Instance, with similar injuries were evacuated by ambulance to the “KORGIALENEIO-BENAKEIO EES” General Hospital. A full clinical and laboratory examination was carried out and did not reveal anything major. The patients at this stage are being treated conservatively.”
