A new strong seismic shock of magnitude 4.8 was recorded at noon on Tuesday (28/4) in Skiathos, testing the patience of residents who have still not recovered from the earthquake of 4.7.
According to the Geodynamic Institute, its focal depth was 10 kilometres and its epicentre was four kilometres North – North-West of Skiathos.

Earlier, a 4.7 magnitude earthquake shook Islanders again. This vibration occurred eight kilometres west of Skiathos.
In both cases, the earthquake was sensed in Attica.
