AKTOR Group: “HELLENIC LATOMES” completed the acquisition of 51% of “RIGAS PAROS IKE”

AKTOR Group announced that its wholly owned subsidiary “HELLENIC LATOMES” has completed the acquisition of 51% of the company “RIGAS PAROS IKE”.

RIGAS PAROS IKE is active in the exploitation of marble and aggregates quarries on Paros, which is carried out in a marble plant in the Marathi Paros area. The transaction price amounts to €6 million based on a valuation that takes into account the existing dynamics of the operating quarry.

According to the Group: “The acquisition further enhances the development of AKTOR Group’s quarrying business, and is expected to be particularly conducive to its further growth, as it will allow the Group to expand into a new and critical geographic area where there is increased local demand, while it can also meet the increased demand in the wider Aegean region, as well as support the Group’s activities in other regions of the country.”

The acquisition is part of AKTOR Group’s strategic planning and, in particular, the strengthening of the Construction Sector.
