Harilaou Trikoupis opens its arms to Nikos Farantouris, confirming that PASOK is becoming a shelter for former members of Syriza.
In an angry move, PASOK has decided to become the last stop on Nikos Farantouris’s grand tour of party offices in Athens. The man who once pledged allegiance to SYRIZA, after seeing the “door” closed in his face by Alexis Tsipras and Maria Karustianou, distanced himself completely from his political ambitions, finally found a home in the arms of Nikos Androulakis.
The former “chosen one” of Kasselakis, who used to roam the channels as the voice of the left-wing intelligentsia before being summarily deleted by Socrates Famellos, is now moving to Charilaou Trikoupis.
According to reports, Farantouris’ joining PASOK is expected to be announced tomorrow Thursday (30/04) or by the end of the week at the latest.
Sources close to the movement are proudly leaking that Farantouris is just the beginning. It seems that Androulakis’ plan for the “rebirth” of the party is going through the recycling of cadres who, after failing to save SYRIZA, are now promising to “resurrect” PASOK.
