“The First of May is another occasion to turn our attention to the working citizen,” says Nikos Dendias in a post he Nikos Dendias.
“Have a good month. May Day recalls the struggles that founded labor rights. It is another occasion to turn our gaze to the working citizen. The protection and enhancement of living standards, the creation of new jobs and the fair distribution of the fruits of development are the overriding priorities of New Democracy, according to its Founding Declaration”.
This was noted by the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, in a post on social network X, on May Day, and adds:
“As Konstantinos Karamanlis says in it, “private initiative cannot find its justification without parallel participation of the broader popular classes in the distribution of the national product. Every citizen of this country must become a worker together and a sharer of economic prosperity and feel secure about his future and the future of his children.”
