Four persons four persons of whom three are minors were arrested for the offences of breach of authority, damage to foreign property and weapons offences, in Chania. Also arrested were five guardians accused of neglect of supervisionof a minor.
The arrests were made yesterday 30/4 by officers of the Sub-Division for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes of Chania when they identified these individuals as having removed a two-wheeled moped which had been taken by the Traffic Police to a parking lot of a private roadside assistance company.
Specifically, in the evening hours of 22.04. in the context of traffic controls of the Department of Traffic Police Chania,stopped the two-wheeled moped which was moved for safekeeping in this area which was removed by unknown s. From the preliminary investigation of the Sub-directorate of the Prosecution and Detection of Crimes Chania identified the four residents, carried out investigations in their homes where the removed two-wheeled moped was found as well as a sword, 6 cartridges, iron fist and 7 folding knives.
The guardians of the minors were arrested, while the preliminary investigation is being carried out by the Sub-Directorate of Investigation and Detection of Crimes Chania.
