Iranian diplomacy’s response comes in the wake of inflammatory statements by Donald Trump, who has again raised the issue of attacks on Iranian soil in the event that negotiations through Pakistan are not successful.
“Iran Iran has presented its plan to the mediator Pakistan, aiming for a definitive end to the imposed war, and now the ball is in the court of the US, which has to choose between the diplomatic route or continuing a confrontational approach,” Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Qasem Garibabadi said.
“Iran, in order to safeguard its national interests and security, is ready for both options,” Qasem Garibadi stressed, addressing ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions in the Iranian capital.
