Increase in the ratings of New Democracy records a new poll by Marc published yesterday (2/5) in “Proto Thema”.
At the same time, positive ratings for the government and the prime minister are now at 38.5% and 39.1% respectively, approaching the rates for the national elections of 2023.
The ruling party reaches 32.2% in the election result estimate, up from 31.4% in February. That performance puts it 3.9 points above the result of the 2024 European elections.
The strengthening is linked to the €500m measures package announced on 22/4, but also to the positive picture from Emmanuel Macron’s visit. At the same time, the positive rating of the government and Kyriakos Mitsotakis is rising, at 38.5% and 39.1% respectively, close to the levels of the 2023 elections.
In second place is PASOK-Movement for Change with 13.5%, up slightly from 13%. They are followed by Liberty Party with 9,5% and Hellenic Solution with 9.2%, both parties in retreat compared to the previous count.
KKE remains at 8%, while Syriza is recorded at 6.8%. The Voice of Reason appears in Parliament with 3.4%, while Mera25 is narrowly out of the running with 2.9%.
Notable is the rise in the “Other party” category to 7%, as it does not include formations that have not yet been announced, such as possible moves by Karstianou or Tsipras.
A year before the next election, the New Democracy maintains a lead of almost 19 points over the second party, but without reaching the levels of independence.
