A murder occurred on Tuesday (05/05) in Heraklion Crete, where a man shot and killed a young driver.

The young driver had allegedly killed the man’s son, resulting in the father taking the law into his own hands and shooting the young man in the area of Gazi, in the municipality of Malevizi in Heraklion.

The crime occurred in Gazi, on Andreas Papandreou Street. The drafter initially fled in a black Peugeot car, with reports of movement towards Ammoudara.

Finally, the father later surrendered to the Malevizi Police Department. The unfortunate 20-year-old was taken to hospital, however he succumbed to his injuries.

Before the shooting, a crash preceded the shooting, with the collision between the victim’s and the perpetrator’s vehicles.

Immediately after the crash the perpetrator allegedly shot the victim at close range, with eyewitnesses claiming that at least 4-5 shots were heard.

In fact, there appears to be a past connection between the victim and the perpetrator. The perpetrator deliberately hit the victim with his car.

The perpetrator was the father of a child, who died in a traffic accident on Heraklion’s coastal avenue, in which the 20-year-old was involved.
