Andreas Loverdos honored the victims of Marfin, sending a message against political bigotry and murderous hatred.

Andreas Loverdos was at the spot of the tragedy that shook Greek society 16 years ago, paying tribute to the memory of the workers who lost their lives at the Marfin bank.

The former minister visited the monument to the victims on Stadiou Street, stressing the importance of preserving historical memory in the face of a crime that marked the crisis period and remains alive in the consciousness of citizens.

Loverdos’ post:

We will never forget the dead of Marfin! Every year on this day at the scene of the crime to honour the memory of the tragic victims of lawlessness, political fanaticism, blind murderous hatred #marfin
