Kyriakos Pierrakakis told Reuters that Greece will move next month to early Greece .gr/pliromi”>debt repayment of 6.9 billion euros against the first bailout loans it had received from European countries.
“Through Greece’s early repayment program, the public debt is expected to be reduced further, close to 130% of GDP in 2027,” said Economy and Finance Minister Piyerrakakis.
The minister praised the team of the Public Debt Management Agency (PDMA) for their work in reducing debt, saying they are the “silent heroes” of the Greek recovery.
