Minister National Defence Nikos Dendias, will travel to Portugal on Thursday at the invitation of his Portuguese counterpart Nuno Melo, with whom he will have bilateral conversations.
Following the private meeting of the two ministers, extended talks will be held between the two delegations.
This will be followed by joint statements to the press and a working lunch.
During his stay in Portugal, Mr. Dendias will also visit the facilities of the 506th Aircraft Squadron tomorrow.
On Friday 8 May, Mr. Dendias will visit the Operational Centre for Unmanned Vehicles (CEOV) at the Lisbon Naval Base, as well as the headquarters of the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA).
The visit of the Minister of National Defence to Portugal takes place in the context of strengthening bilateral relations in the fields of Defence, Security and Innovation.
