Three men were arrested yesterday, Wednesday in the murder of Giorgos Moschouris outside a medical center in Chalandri in April 2025.

The arrests were made by officers of the Homicide Department of the Organized Crime Division.

The defendants, according to ELAS, are members of a criminal organization and, in addition to the murder of the 52-year-old in Halandri, are also accused of explosion in an operation in New Eritrea in August 2025 and personal data breach in July 2024.

According to police sources, a fourth man is involved in the murder of Moschouris, who is in prison and a warrant is expected to be issued for his arrest.

The murder of George Moschouris, who was allegedly a leading member of the so-called Greek Mafia, had occurred on the afternoon of April 24 outside a private clinic in Chalandri. The assailants had set up an ambush on the 52-year-old victim and as soon as he came out of the clinic, they approached him in their vehicle and one of them began firing a Kalashnikov, fatally wounding him.

Police had found dozens of Kalashnikov casings at the scene and a few hours later the vehicle used by the perpetrators in the murderous attack was found burnt out in Pampa Halandriou.
