The Aki Skertsos put forward the statement of the European Commissioner, which captures the country’s progress in the areas of justice and institutions.

The statement by European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice and the Rule of Law Michael McGrath following his meeting with the Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis reproduced on social media by State Minister Akis Skertos.

The statement refers to Greece’s progress on all institutional and rule of law issues and reads as follows:

“I would like to highlight the excellent cooperation we have in the field of the rule of law, as well as the significant progress you have made in recent years. I believe that, without a doubt, the reforms that have been implemented and the rule of law environment here in Greece have helped you to develop and strengthen the economy.
