Two 17-year-olds fell from the sixth floor of an apartment building in Heliopolis.
One juvenile was taken to the Voula Asclepion Hospital heavily injured, ewhile the second was taken to a hospital unconscious.
Specifically, it all happened on the morning of Tuesday, May 12, when the two girls climbed onto the roof of a sixth-floor apartment building on El Venizelos Street and dove into the void. According to reports, before the fatal fall, they closed the door of the roof.
One of the two is seriously injured and was taken to the Asklipio Voula and then to the KAT, while the second was taken to the hospital unconscious and is reportedly dead.
The circumstances under which the tragic incident occurred are being investigated.

A businessman who runs a shop next to the apartment building in Heliopolis can’t believe the things that have happened. “She was gasping and making exclamations,”he says in shock.
He describes the shocking moments he experienced and what followed after the fall. In a coy voice, he stresses that there was a loud crash from the two girls’ fall to the concrete. “Around 12 o’clock there was a long exclamation, an ‘ahh’ and a loud bang. I turned my head and saw the girls. I called the ambulance and 911,” he said.
The businessman said one girl was gasping and her brother had rushed to her side. “The brother of the girl who was breathing also came down. For the state she was in she seemed to be communicating. She was panting, making exclamations, the girl was trying to communicate, she seemed to understand what was happening.”
“They asked for the keys to the roof and within seconds they fell”
According to a neighbour’s testimony, shortly before the incident the two girls asked the manager for the keys to the roof and within seconds there was a loud noise from their fall.
According to a neighbor’s testimony, shortly before the incident, the two 17-year-old girls allegedly asked the building manager for the keys to the rooftop. “My friend says to her ‘where the keys are, where we put them’. She didn’t have time to take five steps and she hears the bang, the kids fell off the roof,” she said.
She added that no one could have imagined what was to follow. “Where could she imagine now why and why they wanted the keys. She couldn’t imagine this tragic event,” she said.
