Kostis Hatzidakis described Alexis Tsipras’s new project as a “product with an expiration date“.

Kosti Hatzidakis made a particularly scathing statement from the podium of the “CRETE 2030” forum in Heraklion, commenting on the reappearance of Alexis Tsipras on the political scene.

Hatzidakis accused Tsipras of recycling faces and promises, noting that “one wonders if we are in 2015, 2019 or 2023. Mr. Tsipras is coming back with the same members of parliament, the same words, the same executives, the same promises.”.

According to Mr. Hatzidakis, the only essential difference is that Mr Tsipras is back, now claiming lower percentages, turning his political past into a “product with an expiration date“.

At the same time, Hatzidakis sent a message to PASOK, stressing that the Central Left’s collaborations or processes with Tsipras are not about the government.
